Must be an expert in Microsoft Project and JIRA within a large and complex SAP Programme.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and taking ownership of project schedules from project standards, plan development and detailed progress tracking and plan reporting.
- Reviewing, advising and making recommendations on contractual requirements specifically relating to schedule and progress monitoring.
- Maintaining, updating and monitoring of progress on project schedules, including production of internal planning status reports.
- Managing preparation and issue of schedule impact assessments/ summaries as identified by the Project Manager for incorporation in internal project changes and external variation orders.
- Supporting Project Manager during internal and external meetings to proactively drive schedule discussions & present material accordingly.
- Implementing "early warning" identification of potential schedule issues.
- Identifying and communicating ‘risk’ relating to all schedules produced
To be successful in this role you will:
- Expert in Project Planning software including MS Project & JIRA.
- Have been involved in a minimum of 3 SAP programme delivery lifecycles.
- Defined and manage planning standards, dashboards and reporting across a global programme.
- Have experience in Managing Project Planning across global programmes.
- Have good proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Have sound oral and written communication skills.
- Have sound interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead a small team of planners.
- Support project manager sin the creation and management of plans.
- Strategic planning: Oversee the strategic planning process to ensure that projects and initiatives align with the organization's goals.
- Data analysis: Analyze data, trends, and market insights to create forecasts and plans.
- Project management: Have excellent project management skills and be able to prioritize workloads and juggle competing demands.
- Communication: Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively about plans with their team.
- Leadership: Have leadership skills to lead discussions surrounding a particular project and manage teams effectively.
- Problem solving: Have problem-solving skills to work through problems that come up.
